If you have any leads on an unfinished basement in the Seattle area, well HOLLER AT ME NOW, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR??
and here is a free download to “The Town”.

ELAHATER. future appearance in seattle.

Yo, Saman you have GOT to make me one. Being your womb mate must have its benefits.
If you don’t know who the Elahater is, you best get to educating yourself. Check her blog www.hateonme.com. Nobody hates quite like she does, especially when she’s callin out fools that keep thinkin racism ended after the Civil War. I can only name a few other people that hate as hard as she does.. and I may just be one of those individuals. But I am trying people, I am really trying not to. Unless its necessary.. and well.. I guess it is. Until ingnorance ceases to exist.
Anyway. This rad pic will be on my desktop background until the lady arrives. Let the countdown begin.
A taste of some Aotearoa (New Zealand). My other home.
I’ve missed home lately. Not many people know this, but I lived in Aotearoa back in 2002 for a year. I have HELLLLA family there. How and why people ask. Well, because it was easier to immigrate to NZ then it is to the States from Samoa for a lot of my family.
I miss it. Alot. And Im procrastinating. So this blog is for me to reminisce anytime I want. OOOh the beauty about blogging.
—————————————–
The Haka. A traditional Maori War dance. Performed by the All Blacks, the only rugby team worth watching, in my no so humble opinion. You better believe I will be NZ for the 2012 Rugby World Cup.
Some of the hiphop I was into during my stay.
Scribe- Not Many Remix.. Yeah. He’s Samoan.
Stand Up. This video is kinda Filthy. And his Pe’a (tat) is too nice.
Katchafire. New Zealand Island Reggae. Need I say more? Now I really want to go home.
Katchafire: Who You With… watch out for the FISH AND CHIPS SHOP!!! Forget Take home boxes, they wrap that shit in newspaper. Memories.
The funny ads.. with islanders. haha whats great about this ad is that it actually looks like the inside of my Aunty’s house. haha.
Fake Empire- Ryan Lewis
Well, I’m just a blogging machine now aren’t I?
I have a .5 sec cameo in this. That should be enough reason for you to check this out. har har. OH hell, I will also take this opportunity to name drop some other peeps and encourage you to take a look at their blog.
You got cameos from the home girl Saman ( http://samanmaydani.wordpress.com/), Geo (http://prometheusbrown.com/blog/) , Saba, Sam, and some other peeps from the town.
The homie Macklemore (http://www.bengalyucky.com/) plays the biggest role, playing the guy tangled up in the prison that is materialism.
I might add, Ryan Lewis used all digital photographs to put this little piece together. Did I mention this was his Thesis statement? I’ll take that over a 30 page paper any day. Pretty filthy.
Jay-Z and NERD in Seattle Tonight
Nothing I can do will even come close to exciting considering HOV is in town and I’m not there. So I might as well blog.
This isn’t necessarily my favorite song of all time, but its definitely a hottt song. Pharrell and Jay-z… yeah. Not only am I missing Jay-z but I’m missing Nerd as well. It hurts right here (points to the heart). *sigh. And actually I would love to marry Chad Hugo.. and I heard hes not present tonight.. so maybe thats a good thing (for me).
I must add that I like the cameo from my girl New New (ATL). If I can’t be with Pharell, I ain’t mad that she gets to
Blue Scholars Interview with Bahai International Tv
Im HELLLLLAAA late on seeing this interview, but thanks to Blogs is Watching for posting this today! http://www.blogsiswatching.com/ An interview from July 2008 with Geo and Saba describing a little bit of their history, how they met, where they come from, why they do what they do, the premise of their old album Bayani, and how it relates to both of their experiences.
This is probably one of the best montages I have watched, using footage of Zia Mohajerjasbi’s music videos in context of what Geo and Saba are testifying to.
Why do I do this work? Why do I found it necessary to serve humanity? For the same reason the Blue Scholars do, for the same reason any of us find it necessary to do what we do: to represent our people, to share our stories, to bridge those gaps, the maintain a sense of unity, to resist any forces that attempt to bring any of us down, to help shape the lives of the youth and support the idea that they are our future and worth investing our time, energy, resources, love, light, spirit, faith.. our friendship in.
I’m in the game of Healing.
SNL Short- “Threw it On the Ground”
I cant help it. It’s the same formula over and over, but I can’t stop myself from laughing. Haaaarrrd.
“happy birthday to the grrrrooouuunnd”
Urban Legends- Nick Demoura
can we say cot daaaayyyuumm. I want to move like this.. express in the form of dance the way I feel the music.
Nikki is a favorite song of mine from The Dream and the choreography in this piece is hella legit.
Watch me in 5 years. This will be me. I have already promised myself.
Urban Legends- Lyle Beniga
And another favorite. I can barely describe IN WORDS how the moves for this song invoke that intense desire and need to move the same. I need this more than I need air. That’s how much I feel it. Filthy.
Oooooooooooooooowweeeeeeeeeeeee.
Shabazz Palaces – “Belhaven Meridian”
This video makes me want to cop Ish’s new album, “Shabazz Palaces”
Well excuted and artisically done, this video gives me the inspiration I need to develop the swag and feel that the camera captures so well. I would like to see what other work the director, Khalil Joseph, has produced so far.
Peep this. You won’t regret it
